The all-new Škoda Kodiaq boasts a powerful and rugged appearance with a redesigned front grille, squared-off wheel arches and solid rear bumper to give it a real road presence. The new design also improves aerodynamics and increased efficiency and as always is packed with simply clever features and even more space to provide the most comfortable drive.
The redesigned exterior gives the all-new Kodiaq a more powerful look on the road. This is most noticeable head on with the redesigned front grille and horizontal light strip, sculpted bonnet, revised 2D logo, Full LED Matrix headlights with crystallinium and unique dark chrome finishes.
The exterior introduces the first elements of Modern Solid design language and includes new technologies such as Full LED Matrix headlights and a horizontal light strip across the grille.
The interior of the all-new Kodiaq combines style and simplicity with smart solutions and intuitive controls.
The virtual cockpit and 13” infotainment display give an immediate sense of ease and luxury.
The DSG gear selector is positioned on the steering column, allowing for a generous centre console.
Above which you’ll find customisable Škoda Smart Dials, which combine physical dials and digital displays
to intuitively access a range of vehicle functions.
When you choose the Kodiaq, you’ll be presented with a range of efficient petrol and diesel engine options. A 1.5-litre 148bhp petrol unit is issued as standard with five-seat SE trims, achieving a 41.3mpg combined figure while producing CO2 emissions from 150g/km. The most fuel-efficient option is a 2.0-litre 148bhp diesel engine, available for both five and seven-seat models. This returns a 59.9mpg combined figure and produces emissions from 141g/km. Optimal pace and power is delivered by a 2.0-litre 242bhp petrol unit, which is installed within top-tier vRS trims. This produces 370Nm of torque and allows the Kodiaq to go from 0-62mph in less than seven seconds.
This full-size SUV is a lot of fun to drive, offering accurate steering, for instance, while providing a comfortable ride at a variety of speeds and on a range of surfaces. And to help you keep up with prevailing conditions, there are Normal, ECO and Sport drive modes to choose from.
Škoda Smart Dials Combining practical haptic control with innovative digital technology. The two outer Smart Dials allow for easy function of the interior temperature, seat heating and ventilation. Whilst the centre dial can control up to four other functions, such as driving modes, map zoom, and speaker volume. Arrive at your destination ready to go with a fully-charged smartphone. Simply place your compatible smartphone on the wireless charging pad to start receiving power. Plus, the cooling function will help prevent your phone from overheating.
ŠKODA has a strong reputation for the reliability and safety of its vehicles so it’ll come as no surprise that the Kodiaq has achieved a full five-star Euro NCAP crash-test score. And that’s because it’s laden with passive and active protective features, such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) which is standard across all trims. AEB works with the Forward Collision Warning System to alert the driver to an impending impact and autonomously implement maximum braking power if necessary.
